Rich Gilbert is one of our chief engineers at the Wall Street comm Center, about a block from what is now being called "ground zero". He said he had gone in personally to volunteer his back in the digging efforts, but was turned back. It was a security issue, and those already in the mayhem have been cleared and will continue through the duration, working around the clock.

Anyway, he mentioned that their building was evacuated yesterday morning due to a hoaxter's bomb threat. I recall Mayor Giuliani on the radio stating he wants to catch one of these punks and make an example of him. I think he should make an example of every one that he gets. This is a funking war zone, and we have local and long distance hooligans who think it's fun to act like the enemy.

My opinion? If they want to ACT like the enemy, they should be TREATED like the enemy, and I don't need any bleeding hearts saying, "...but -- they're just kids..."
