on the way out yes they did follow bush until he go tto the car. I watched it on C-SPAN as it was the only channel covering it that didn't have 1/3rd of the screen covered up with 'attack on america' banners. The coverage form then on went like this: (trying to get it close to chronological order the beggining might be a little shuffled)
Bush Sr talking to Chelsea
Clinton talking to Bush Sr
Clinton walking up to Bob Dole and saying a few words
Clinton talking to Cohen
Clinton talking to misculaneous people.
Cohen waiting around to talk to Clinton again while he talked to misculaneous people
Black Army army soldier (wearing red shield type badge on arm) trying to get Clintons attention (tapping him on arm with paper) fails to get an acknowlegement, walks away.
All this time I was intently watching to see if he would say a word to Gore as he walked out of the cathedral. did he? (Gore was positioned directly behind the Cameras' line of sight to Bush.)
I turned to C-span 2 to catch the british cerenomy at Canturbury Cathedral, then on to the coverage of Tony Blair at the british parliments special session.
