killing two birds with one stone
just got off the phone with my brother, who mad ean interesting suggestion. Recently Amnesty for mexican imigrants has been in the news, he suggested that military service be the answer to that. I.E. join the military and upon leaving you get your citizenship! Not exactly an origional idea, but it does solve the manpower shortage in the military.
