<Nobody in Europe (not even in the UK, which has housed several GIA members who were wanted in France) ever planned to invade a country because there were terrorists in their deserts.
The issue isn't because there are terrorists in the desert, it is that the states helped sponsor the terrorism. If any country's have been found to have supported the terrorism, then I agree with Ashcroft, that they need to be held accountable humiliation or not.
To what extent they abaded the terrorists could be a deciding factor in whether they get invaded or not. Also a willingess or lack thereof to hand over known terrorists will also be a factor. If these states want to avoid being invaded they should start rounding up all terrorists they can get a hold of. If they can't get a hold of them in their own country, the US will be more than happy to help rid them of their local terrorist organisation.
