A coworker of mine, Jillia, claims I have a gift of prophecy. I tell her it's just not all that hard to look at something of human design and tell, given certain properties, whether or not it will work. Well, politics is a contraption of human design, right? So is pride and honor.

...but then, humans can be so predictable sometimes...

I think I'm close to what will come about. There are a lot of people a hell of a lot brighter than I am struggling over the issues, so I can hope at least some of what I said is being addressed.

Who knows? It could still turn out to be another Desert Picnic (not to deride the Storm and all who supported -- like me).
