Don't be mad at the kids. They're just young and stupid (like most of us were too many years ago). If you want to be mad at someone then be mad at the academics that support this sort of nonsense.

However even there, the academics being stupid have a role. Most universities have a "tamed Marxist" on the faculty to provide the kids with some contrast. These tamed Marxists provide an important social function along with the religious fundamentalists, Moonies and Hari Krishnas that hang out at university campuses, viz. weeding out the weaker kids (like wolves thinning out a herd of deer). It would be positively irresponsible to allow the really dumb ones to later hold positions of responsibilty. Best to have them "crash and burn" in university before they grow up.
