All Political Parties, Except JI & JUI, Support Musharraf's Stand

All most all the national and regional political parties, except JI and JUI have announced to support the government policy towards to latest development obtaining from the Sept 11 terrorist attacks against the United States.

According to the sources on listening the official view point after their meeting with the President General Pervez Musharraf majority of the political leaders including Amin Faheem and Aitezaz Hassan of PPP ,PML (QA) 's Mian Mohammad Azhar and Gohar Ayub, TI's Chief Imran Khan, Millat Party's President Sardar Farooq Leghari, ANP's Asfand Yar Wali Khan, Hamid Nassir Chatta, Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani, Allama Tahirul Qadri, Mir Hasil Bizenjo, Ajmal Khattak, Illah Bux Soomro, Mumtaz Bhutto, Dr. Abdul Hai Baloch, Kabir Wasti, Maulana Ajmal Qadri and Fatehyab Ali Khan have supported the government policy.

The President assured the politicians that the government would safeguard the national interests at all costs, said the sources.

However, Amir of Jamaat-e- Islami, Qazi Hussain Ahmad, JUI's Chief Maulana Fazal-u-Rehman and JUI (S)'s Chief, Maulana Samiul Haq expressed their reservations for extending any support to the Unites States and called for siding with the Taleban.
