death of the Taleban

Ironically, after the Taleban blew up the ancient cliffside Buddha's in a public display - their destiny was written on the wall. A flagrant disregard for others, and their beliefs or those of the international community - attracts a like view towards them.

Thousand of Afghans died in the past 24 hours. Thousands more are going to be dead before this month is out. Hundreds of thousands by the end of next month.

Is it a humanitarian disaster? Sure. But what is the cause?

Utter and total ignorance. Aboriginal beliefs and actions in a modern world.

Ignorance is eventually stamped out by more intelligent views.

Those who feel ignorance should be left alone - fail to see how the world and all energy are always interlinked and cannot be isolated.

The Afghan people are living as aborigines. Death is no stranger to them. Hatred and destruction are their comrades. Anti-woman, anti-technology - they are building their own dirt graves.

Anyone shedding tears over the Taleban must be seriously out of touch with reality.

Holy wars have never ended. The Crusades never ended. They just regenerate into new forms and the peoples who fought them incarnate in new countries. The west has been in opposition to the east for thousands of years and vice-versa.

The Afghans have called for a jihad against the US.

However, the US is not anti-muslim - it is opposed to anti-US folks.

Political winds shift quickly.

Afghanistan is disliked by Iran and now the governments in Pakistan and India see that being a nuclear power means you have to act more responsibly in the international community.

In case anyone hasn't been paying attention - we are forming a new balance of power in the region a middle-eastern alliance composed of Iran, India, Pakistan, Israel and some of the former Soviet republics.

By uniting these folks with the sole superpower - the US - they push aside their immediate rivalries and animosities and come together with more financial assistance, infrastructure and economic clout.

Any arab nation remaining isolated from the US - will find themselves withering away and a pariah to the new middle-eastern nuclear alliance.

I have compassion for those who suffer, seemingly needlessly - but there is always action and reaction.

Action: destruction of the WTC.

Reaction will wipe the Taleban - and their utter ignorance- off the face of the earth - and straight into some lower astral plane with which they are more compatible.

Anyone who sides with them shares their fate.

Best wishes,
