She earned the moniker "Hanoi Jane" in 1971 at the height of the Vietnam War, when she traveled to North Vietnam, donned a Communist military uniform and pretended to shoot down U.S. pilots while manning an anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi.

There is no better example of freedom to make a complete fool of yourself than this faded rose. She has spent the last 20 years apologizing for her horrible behavior, yet she feels compelled to offer her 2 cents worth on the current world crisis.

Her current comments don't approach the level of her 1971 conduct but IMO it is the equivalent of a convicted child molester offering advice on family values.
