As you know, there were warnings from Aty Gen ashcroft that there was a terrorist strike targeted at Boston over the weekend. The city is empty of tourists. Economy in the tank bigtime. I was at another of the country's great disasters, the Patriots home game against the NY Jets this Sunday. No planes overhead and conversations in the stands about possible terrorist activities targeted at the 60,000 fans. Big, emotional pre-game rally. No flybys from Otis AFB though. The Air Force reserve is VERY busy. I'd say that there were about 5% or less of the high priced seats across the way in visitors country empty, sadly possibly because the ticket holders (visiting New Yorkers) were dealing with more important friends and relatives issues home in NY. Many in the stands hoping to enjoy the game & expecting to receive "pink slips" from their employers shortly. Of course the Pats played like shit thereby screwing the ticket holders again.
