The Pakistanis are waking up the fact that coddling

The "students" was a huge mistake.
The Taliban's next target was pakistan, to depitate its leadership and to install a similar tyranny.
Pakistan is far from perfect, but women there are treated orders of magnitude better than in taliban ruled Afghanistan, and dissent there is not a dath warrant for the dissenters.
The Paks will likely have to have a civil war to resolve this, but the actual supporters of the Taliban are a small minority of the country.
The officials corrupted by the taliban will have to be dealt with, but Pakistan has no ACLU, for better or worse, and they are very liely ferreting out those traitors even now.
