Ah, the colorful rhetoric! I'd thought our hominid ancestors were more reasoned and thoughtful than many of those on msnbc current events. Too high a noise to signal ratio there.

Sad to say the hate and ignorance on those boards is actually shocking & depressing. I look in now & then but see no point in trying to post. It's really sad to see anti-semitism, hatred of anything arab and really virulent repub vs dem expanded into lib vs conservative sound bytes with rare, infrequent posts explaning the reasons for positions.

I just read our flame board stuff and can't help but note that it's much calmer here even at our worst. Of course that's like my daughter when she came home from school with a C rationalizing poor performance, saying "Well, BILLY gotted a D".
