In Afghanistan, tens of thousands of Afghans have taken part in an anti-US demonstration in the capital, Kabul, the largest protest rally since the terrorist attacks on the United States two weeks ago.
The protesters marched through the streets, carrying banners and shouting anti-US slogans before gathering in one of Kabul's main squares.
Although there have been demonstrations in Kabul in the past fortnight, Wednesday's protest was by far the largest, with government employees, students and shopkeepers all taking part.
The demonstrators chanted "Death to the United States" and "Long Live Islam."
Earlier, United States President, George W-Bush, urged Afghan citizens to help US-led retaliation for this month's terror strikes on New York and Washington.
President Bush blames the attacks on Saudi-born dissident, Osama bin Laden, who has been living in Afghanistan for some years.
