The place that I now work has one of the worlds experts on Bin Laden... I know our national labs will focus a lot of effort on making terrorism obsolite. ALL of the Scientists I have talked to, who are lets face it generally liberal like me, are hoping to wipe these bastards off the earth...

One fact is that you DO NOT want to have the most brilliant people on the earth plotting your destruction... Our national labs put out more new technology than the rest of the world put together. As soon as I get my classified clearance I will offer whatever service a laser jock like me can give to helping end this scourge...

I do not know if I can help much- but if I can I will.... I would LOVE to try out my laser on Bin Laden.....8^)

Trust me our labs have groups devoted to brainstorming on this subject- and frankly there is no other country in the world that can match one tenth of our intellectual recources.... The vast majority of scientists are for peace, but we know when war is the only option. And we know it is the only option now...we have tech that can make their job VERY hard, and finally I think we will use it...
