Taliban uses drug-money - & so does America

It is unreasonable to expect the dirt-poor Afghan people to ignore a potentially lucrative form of income. It is equally unreasonable to expect this form of income to be ignored by others in the Third World.

The Taliban uses drug-money. So do their opponents. Nothing shocking about that.

I believe the Number One cash crop in the richest country in the world is marijuana. That would be America, of course. So a drug economy in Afghanistan should shock and surprise us?
