Re: Change of Command at Pentagon . . .
The incoming Chairman of the JCS is from the Air Force and was the former commander of NORAD and Space Command. The outgoing Chairman was a Army Special Forces snake-eater. I can't help but wonder if this particular change of command is well advised at the moment. I don't have an opinion one way of the other about the outgoing Chairman but kind of wish the new guy also had special operations experience. This selection was made long before Sept 11th when the military's priorities were different.
