A crime is a crime. If we can get the criminal element to think twice about background checks on their "clients", it's another plus. A phony ID wrap ain't all that bad, but if you can cut the link -- well, the link is cut.
The punishment, of course, can never fit the crime. I think it's illegal to execute people by baking them a little, then feeding them to giant potato mashers, or blenders set to puré.
