. . . and the Taliban is in a world-class conniption.

The Evil Western Empire is rising around, with all eyes turned to them. There was a time when they were the unobserved quarter of humanity -- but that was August.

I would say strikes will occur this week -- depending upon the Taliban's response, though I really don't think they'll agree to the terms. The leaders have too many followers to be turned over so easily to the UN for international trial.

I wish there were more cameras so I could watch the panic build...
