The Sun Also Sets....
was a very good book that I read around 1988.
It talked about the long term unsustainablility of the Japanese Economy.
The biggest problem seems to be tah they never really allowed strong competition into their internal markets or corporate structures.
The demographics, because of Japanese racism, are stagnant, with a low birth rate and aging population and no new blood to bring in fresh ideas and young worlkers.
