We took her on a vacation to Disney World when she was 4 years old. For every meal, she _HAD_ to eat at McDonald's. Being an only child, she usually ended up getting her way. We adults very quickly tired of the golden arches, so we'd take her there to get her something, then we'd go to another restaurant for some real food.

One of the fun aspects of growing older is to see how the passage of time can implement its own revenge. That particular niece is now 26, married, and has a 1 year old daughter of her own. It won't be too long before her daughter starts demanding to eat every meal at McDonald's. We'll see just how sick of the place my niece will be then.
