Disinformation level is off the scale
There is so much disinformation flowing around the web that determining the truth is almost impossible. I guess this is a variation of von Clauswitz' "fog of war". We've already seen examples of Israeli disinformation. They seem quite keen to make the Saudi's look like bad guys. The Indians naturally want the Pakis look like bad guys. There's the far left producing as much noise as possible. On top of this our government is trying (quite correctly) to keep people guessing. Assume everything is a lie until proven true.
