I heard on the news last evening that President Bush was very concerned regarding leaks from congress. Briefings on the maneuvers are being held in closed sessions, with large bytes of data trickling down to levels that have nothing to do with military logistics, planning, or implementation. Bush has since drafted a memo to the effect that if a member of congress or senate is not officially briefed of information pertaining the the U.S. retaliation against terrorism, then all they have (be it fact or fiction) is rumor, and they are to shut the fuck up.

I like that.

Need to know, my friends. Need to know. We're dealing with eyes-only information at the highest level, and these airheads we personally elect into office have been babbling up a storm about military strategies -- strategies most of them are completely clueless to even begin to comprehend. The first rule for any strategist is to keep your damned mouth shut about it.
