North Korea Denounces U.S. Attacks

North Korea has denounced the US-led air strikes in Afghanistan saying the use of armed forces to kill innocent people cannot be justified.

Noting the United States launched a military operation in retaliation against large-scale terrorist attacks, the North Korean foreign ministry says that, as a consequence, the world faces another war.

It says the use of force will disturb regional stability and can't be justified under any circumstances.

The statement says North Korea believes United States action could cause a vicious circle of retaliation that will plunge the world into a major conflict.

It was Pyongyang's first comment on the US-led attacks in Afghanistan.

Yeah, so much for "stability" in the Middle East,
