The trouble with Islamic afterlife
Mohammed made it too good.
It is filled with all the earthly pleasures that they are taught to deny themselves on earth. Unlimited sex, good food, wine, what's not to like. I suppose that since their martyrdom will gain them direct access they wanted to have something to compare paradise with.
On the other hand Christianity promises none of that. The Christian view of heaven is either very vague or an endless life of piety in a nice environment. No wonder nobody wants to die.
