What happened to the Vikings?

I know they lost a player to sunstroke during training but that can't explain how a good team like the Vikings are 1 & 3 so far this season. Sure, they always seem to choke in the playoffs but they tend to kick butt in the regular season. The Vikings being 1 & 3 is even more surprising than the Chargers being 3 & 1.
