FYI: funds for the firemen
There is a fund for the survivors and families of the firefighters in New York City, who are unionized. Go here for info. I'd be extremely surprised if continuing support for the firefighters and EMS personnel who are still working at the scene isn't made available throughout their remining lives... once again, thanks to the union.
The NFPA, our favorite model code writers, contributed $100,000 to it - see this press release.
I don't know if anything similar exists for the companies that responded to the Pentagon.
