It was absolutely preposturous for the Bush team to oppose any official manual recounts to begin with. As you say by all indications he won by a minute margin, but that does not change the fact that he and is team fought tooth and nail to not have any manual recount at all. NEVER in American history has there NOT been a manual recount when an election was so close. In fact there are usually recounts when it is within 2%. Florida was won by Bush by less than 1/1000 of 1%.

I agree with Mary Anne this is a dead horse, especially in light of current events and the need to rally behind our leader. Let it go dude.
