Toyota Motor Corporation has called a temporary halt to assembly activities at Port Qasim, near Karachi, where the Toyota Corolla and Hilux pick-ups, and the Daihatsu Mira are assembled. Toyota cited the current unrest in the population due to the activities in Afghanistan as the main reason.
