Thank God that most of the country is ignoring the news organizations and government representatives who, having received Deadly Envelopes, are currently running around like decapitated chickens. Reading my newspaper this morning I saw about seven full pages on the Terrible Anthrax Plague, most of which thoroughly contradicted each other.

Most Americans, realizing that they stand a far better chance of getting flattened by a truck full of bridge parts on the way to work, than of being fatally infected by anthrax in their offices, are going about their business keeping America running.

I predict that when this is all done, and the hoaxes and false positives are filtered out, they will find about four nutcases (maybe even just one) who did the actual anthrax mailings. They may not even be Mideastern terrorists at all.

BTW, I wonder how many of the Congressmen who have fled their offices holding their skirts up high and squealing like little girls, were giving Bush crap a few weeks back about not being in the White House during the terrorist attacks.
