Ironically, he came up in a conversation I had last night for an entirely different reason. But the message was the same.....something he had written had profound effects upon a situation.

How can you explain that violence begets violence and it propagates itself into a downward spiral? With our technologies and world wide weapons sales, anger and revenge can only lead to disaster.

I hope we don't have to wait until we pick what's left of the rubble of our planet (or, at least the middle east), before we tackle a international peace treaty and have an international court.

With Zeevie being murdered in Israel by the PLO, the Israelis are seeking revenge. "Give us your muderers, or suffer the consequences!"
(I wonder where they got that from?)

So, watch the powder keg ignite and see if WE can keep out of it.
Doubtful.
More anger.
More retribution.
Watch us all cringe as our societies fall apart and the peace train goes downhill.

You know, I KNOW this works, as I have used it to my advantage time and time again in all types of personal and business relationships. It takes patience (something that is missing these days), and foresight, and a strength to carry it through. It does NOT mean weakness or gullibility. Stand up to your oppressor, but love him for his weakness. Be an example.

And find the enemies or murderers and bring them to their justice.
Blind revenge kills innocent people and encouages this downward spiral.
