Conference bookings are being cancelled in Berkeley

as a result of the city council vote last Tuesday condemning US military action in Afghanistan. I just heard this on a CBS radio news report. According to the news report, hotel and restaurant attendance is also down. Gee, imagine that - people unhappy with Berkeley are voting with their dollars. Gee, how unfair is that?
