Newsmax pops up with this article showing a "Link Between Arafat and Bin Laden." Apparently the sons of two Palestinian Authority police chiefs have been training in bin Laden's camps. The article does not even mention whether the police chiefs were aware of this.

Now, I'm certainly no fan of the PLO, or the PA, and this is certainly the sort of thing that needs to be investigated, but as far as linking Arafat and bin Laden officially, this is a bit feeble. It sounds a lot like those folks who are trying to hook up Bush and bin Laden through a long series of connections that sounds more like a Six Degrees game than anything else.

Geez, if I followed up the Pope's relations I'd find a black sheep somewhere.
