A-10 "Thunderbolts"; where are they?
They made quite an impression in
"Desert Storm" and in the Balkans;
where are they now?
Has the USAF retired them all?
It would seem that such highly-maneuverable, well-armored,
heavily-armed aircraft would be ideal for the Afghan environment.
That's one suggestion that can be sent to the Pentagon: "Bring those birds back!"
