The absence of children
<Consider this: Many divorced parents live hundreds of miles apart. Some are now reluctant to put children on airplanes for visitation trips, because they fear for their safety.
A commentator on NPR (I think it was Alex Chadwick) said as much yesterday, in a personal report on flying since the airlanes reopened: No children, in airports or in planes. I'm not at all surprised.
