Lots of Interest, Little Action at Recruiting Office
From today's LA Times. Sad. Maybe they think it'll take too long to become one of the elite forces that will be most used in this war. Maybe the reality of serving and possibly dying sank in. Maybe they were gutless after all. Of course, that makes me respect those who did follow through all the more.
