NA can't take Mazar-e-Sharif without massive US, UK assistance

The Northern Alliance is out-manned, out-gunned, poorly trained and poorly organized. We could bomb and bomb and bomb until every single Taliban tank and artillery piece in the surrounding area is taken out and the NA would still have trouble retaking the city. The only way this pathetic excuse for an army is going to recapture the important northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif is with massive US and UK assistance, including a substantial number of forces on the ground.
And it's not gonna happen tomorrow.
