I can easily see where having to release to the public everything you say or do could handicap a president in trying to perform his duty. Heck, it would handicap anybody trying to do their job.
For the record, Judicial Watch has a pretty good reputation for actually being non-partisan and objective, unlike many groups with "non-partisan" in their name.
