Re: I think I'll address this one . . .

. . . and I won't even have to read the article.

Arab students are flocking to US flight schools with visas.......why isn't there a law against this?
(Go ahead Justin, delete this crap and forget you live in America, home of free speech).

A school visa allows people from other nations to come to the United States and attend classes not available in many countries.

Welcome to America, Dennis, the land of opportunity, and of the free.

And about your freedom of speech. You still have that. What you also have is the knowledge that you can be tolerated (you did know you were being tolerated, right?). You do not, however, have a freedom of rudeness. A man bellowing at the top of his lungs at a ball game, cheering his team to victory is more than acceptable in America, it's encouraged. There are places where it is not. Reading out loud a NAZI manifesto in a public hall is completely legal. So is reading passages from the Holy Bible.

However!!
While standing on a public sidewalk in front of a public church in New York City, David Soul [Ken Hutchinson of “Starsky and Hutch” fame, circa 1975] was arrested twice in the early 1990s for disturbing the peace.

His weapon? The Bible.

His argument? Freedom of speech.

The result? Prison.

Freedom of speech guarantees citizens of the United States a public place for speaking. It also guarantees those same citizens a public place where they don’t have to hear it.

This is Justin’s sidewalk.

Cheers,
Dan
