Bin Laden's health

I've heard from a few sources that Bin Laden has kidney disease. He was apparently treated for kidney stones last summer. Kidney problems would certainly help explain a deterioration in his appearance. Some of the reports are conflicting - what else is new?

Wouldn't it be too bad if he had to pass a few stones while holed up in a cave?
