I encounter this sort of thing everywhere: people who simply underestimate the number of 'watering holes' available. You don't know it but I post at about 50 newsgroups just like this one. There is nothing special about your opinion, it is no better than the thousands of others I read every day. One website is no better than anyone else's, including my own website, which you've no doubt seen. On a national scale it's thousands of websites, thousands of ideas, thousands of opinions, thousands of ways to live your life. On a global scale that is increased by 6 orders of magnitude. When you've seen it all, and you come back to Habitable Zone to see a comment like yours, well, it's just sad.
