First, the feds need to determine if there was an explosion. If there was, was it caused by a bomb or an engine coming apart on its own. If the engine came apart, what caused that? Could it be faulty maintenance (it happens), manufacturing defects (it happens), bird or other foreign object injection (it happens), or a bomb?
