at a time when there are literally millions of flights worldwide each year. You're talking lotto odds here. Tragic, yes, but very rare incidents.
Me, I find riding on airliners to be boring but an acceptable means of getting somewhere. I'd much rather fly myself in my Cessna even though it's many times more dangerous. We're all going to die someday. If I have to die in a plane crash, I'd rather it be with my hands on the controls. Of course, my first choice is to die in bed aged 110 after being shot by a jealous 23 year old husband...
