According to this ABC News article, the citizens of Kabul are welcoming the NA as liberators. Some of them are enjoying previously banned activities like shaving and taking off their turbans.
The article mentions that the NA has executed some Arab and Pakistani Taliban fighters who remained in the city. That's hardly surprising - those people are seen as foreign invaders. That's a lesson that must not be lost on our troops and those eager to send them into Afghanistan. The ground fighting in Afghanistan is best done by Afghanis. That will go a long way to giving the new government legitimacy.
