There seems to be plenty of rejoicing right now in Kabul even with it's 'documented' majority of Pashtuns that have been residing there. The only 'atrosoties' that I'm aware of is the killing of seven Pakistani/Taliban supporters that were still in the city. I'm hoping that the Pashtuns in the South including those in the city of Kandahar are fully aware of what their Pashtun member, Gen. Abdul Haq was trying to accomplish. The southern Pashtun citizen need to revolt against the Pashtun Mullahs that make up the Taliban, they may even help in finding and fighting Al Quaida members still hiding in the south and elsewhere in Afghanistan.
If only Pashtun Gen. Haq and Tajik's Northern Aliance leader, Masood were alive to see this. I'm sure... positive that if they were alive that that would greatly have helped in bringing a government-for-all Afghans government about. I just hope that their followers will keep their dream alive. So far, Northern Aliance leaders have demonstrated that they want such a government. I don't think we should get too much further involved in arming them, but should get in touch with the leaders of all these tribes. The Afghan people and the rest of the world, especially Muslims, would like to hear from them and I hope the world and the UN will be listening.
