Been listening to talk radio and other sources, and the amazing ignorance about the concept of cloning is astonishing.
For one thing, the scientists are talking about therapeutic cloning, which is a whole different kettle of fish, but let's talk about the fear of cloning complete humans:
Basically, a successfully cloned infant from your cells would simply be an identical twin, just much younger than you. That's it. Do we treat twins, triplets, etc. as bizarre freaks of nature? Geez, people need to get educated.
