The Democrats, despite big talk about bipartisanism, have not forgotten their top priority: block every last possible Bush policy that might improve the economy or other domestic situation before the next election. Daschle has essentially frozen all Bush legislation in the Senate. And the porkmeisters are in full cry for more spending, a profession that includes many Republicans as well.
