I think he said that about half the energy from nuclear power reactors is used to manufacture electricity. The other half is released into the atmosphere as heat.
Which is an interesting proposition. I don't know the numbers, but I know that the cooling towers and water released into larger bodies of water are carrying a heat load considerably higher than when it went into the reactor complex.
That's interesting. Reactors may not be as "green" as I thought.
