The real war?
Did it ever occur to you in your wildest imaginations that democrats might actually BELIEVE in the policies they espouse? It's not a war here Tom; it's economic philosophy. There is a ton of historical, empirical, and theoretical evidence to support the view that government spendign programs will pull us out of recession FAR faster than tax cuts or Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. A reinvigorated economy will in turn make future tax cuts more affordable.
