Re: Recent Attacks on Jurasalem

Maybe the Palestinians, too long deprived of liberty and freedom and civil society want to die? They have bought into a fascit idea: the idea that a special leader can bring them fulfillment, and that this leader should be free to steal and kill and otherwise behave badly.
Now the logical degeneration of that idea is coming to fruition.
Israel is going to work itself up into a death frenzy, and they have no interest in being the ones who die.
Believe me on this: The Palestinian people will die. Israel may become a world pariah, and ultimately shorten its life as a nation, but many many Palestinians will die if this terror war against Israel goes on much farther.
The incessant irresponsibility of Palestinian leaders in on the one hand repressing their own people, and on the other inciting them to think that dying in the act of committing violence is a great thing is going to catch up and likely see the destruciton of Paalestine, their leaders and a very large number of Palestinian innocents.
From childhood on Pllaestinians are apparently taught to believe in fatuous conspiracies and to accept the brutal corruption of their own leadership.
This is a fool's combination.
Israel is not a nation without fault, and it is certainly culpable in contributing to the build up of the climate for terror in its repressive occuptaion of the West Bandk and the construction of so-called settlements.
BUT the suicide bombings are something that leaves no alternative at the end of the day except to inflict general retribution against the people who harbor the suicides and encourage their mental states.
Arafat is now going to face what the Taliban faced:
The demand from a vastly more powerful and serious enemy to either surrender terro or surrender power.
The many ambiguities of the situation are now irrelevant, thanks to the incredibly vile behavior of too many in the Palestinian leadership.
