My comment:
Its amazing how some on the left can attempt to re-write history by placing a comma into a transcript of spoken word... It appears to me that Mr. Safire is as guilty of Semantic acrobatics as Mr. & Mrs. Clinton. Does he really believe that she intended to place a comma in her statement concerning the vast right wing conspiracy? Does he really believe that by doing so it would alter the meaning, and viciousness, of her groundless statement?
